MEO Australia Strengthens Executive Team with New Appointment

MEO Australia Limited announced that Robert Zammit has commenced employment with MEO as Executive Manager – Business Development today.

Robert brings a wealth of international gas and LNG marketing skills to MEO. His primary role will be to work closely with the Commercial Manager to assist the Company’s efforts to monetise the Tassie Shoal gas processing projects and also seek markets for MEO’s gas discoveries subject to successful appraisal drilling.

In addition, MEO has recently made the following technical appointments:

Lubing Liu was appointed to the position of Chief Reservoir Engineer on 3rd October 2011. Lubing has 17 years industry experience with a variety of major oil and energy services companies. Lubing was the Vice President – Exploration and Petroleum Technology of Sinopec East Puffin Pty Ltd (Melbourne based) from August 2008 until end of 2010. He has been contracted to MEO for several months prior to his appointment and has been invaluable in assisting the company to evaluate a number of New Venture opportunities.

Dean Johnstone was appointed to the position of Senior Geoscientist on 3rd October 2011. Dean has 28 years industry experience as a structural geologist primarily with ExxonMobil and has had a long association with the PNG Gas Project from farm-in through to appraisal drilling and FEED studies. He recently returned from an expatriate assignment in Canada.
