Mermaid Maritime Axes CFO

Mermaid Maritime, a provider of subsea and drilling services to the offshore oil and gas industry, has notified that, as of today, October 14, 2016 Raza Ullah Khan will no longer be performing his duties of the company’s chief financial officer.

Raza Ullah Khan, who was just appointed over a month ago, previously served as CFO of Mermaid Subsea Services for six years.

According to Mermaid, his cessation occurred due to internal restructuring of the company in line with cost efficiencies, centralization and consolidation.

Phiboon Buakhunngamcharoen, who has been with the Mermaid’s finance and accounting department for the past 11 years, has been appointed as acting CFO.

In addition, Mermaid informed that Jean-Francois Redon has resigned from his position of executive vice president, Asset and Administrative Management, to pursue personal and other professional interests.
