MING HE Undergoes Extensive Overhaul at CIC Boluomiao

MT “MING HE” was successfully repaired and redelivered to her owner by China Shipping Industry (CIC) Boluomiao shipyard on July 23rd.

The repair work entailed a wide range of activities such as renewal of the cargo hold’s inner bottom plate, side tank, fore and after peak tanks, followed by double bottom tank’s plate totaling in over 1200T of steel.

During the repair period, the production department invested strenuous effort in adequate assigning of responsibilities strictly adhering to the previously devised overall production plan. In addition, the project implementation was characterized by continuous communication and coordination between the manager and repair supervisors with the ship-owner and the project surveyor.
