Monadelphous secures 5-year contract for work on Woodside’s gas facilities

Australian construction engineering company Monadelphous has been awarded a contract with compatriot Woodside valued at approximately AUD$600 million ($453.5M) over five years.

The engineering company said on Wednesday that the contract is for the provision of gas asset general maintenance services and offshore brownfields implementation for its gas production facilities.

The contract, which is for an initial period of five years with a further two one-year extension options, includes maintenance, shutdown work and offshore brownfields implementation for Woodside’s onshore facilities, Karratha Gas Plant and Pluto LNG Plant, as well as its offshore facilities, Pluto LNG Platform, North Rankin Complex, Goodwyn A platform and Angel platform.

Monadelphous Managing Director Rob Velletri said: “We have a long history of delivering on our promises to customers, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety, and implementing innovative solutions that deliver continual improvements in productivity.”

“It’s pleasing to see our work in these areas recognised by Woodside with the award of a new, expanded contract which includes a significant portion of their offshore gas production facilities in the north west of Western Australia, in addition to the onshore maintenance services we currently provide.”
