More Qatari LNG bound for UK

South Hook LNG terminal in the UK is set to receive a new LNG cargo from Qatar.

The 215,000 cbm Q-Flex Al Gharrafa LNG carrier is scheduled to arrive at the terminal on March 13, port data shows.

The beginning of 2015 has been quite busy for one of Europe’s largest LNG regasification terminals, based in Milford Haven. South Hook can provide up to 20 percent of UK’s natural gas needs. It has the capacity to process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
