Morgan Stanley to build a CNG export facility

Morgan Stanley filed an application with the U.S. Department of Energy’s office of Fossil Energy to build and run the first U.S. CNG export facility.

A compression and container loading facility with the capacity to ship 60 billion cubic feet a year of CNG, located near Freeport, Texas was outlined in the proposal, reports Reuters.

Shipping the CNG to FTA-countries like Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama or El Salvador is in the plans of Morgan Stanley.

Morgan Stanley spokesperson declined to comment on the plans.
