N-Sea Provides Solution for Pipelay Support Operations in North Sea

N-Sea announces the award of a subsea support services contract for Cecon in their Dutch sector campaign 2013. N-Sea will perform survey and ROV based construction support services throughout the installation of 60 km of pipelines in the North Sea.

The project is scheduled in Q3 2013 and will involve the installation of 4 different pipelines.

N-Sea, a specialist in diving, survey and subsea services, will deliver their expertise and equipment during the installation of the gas pipelines for both Wintershall and GDF Suez.

The execution of the work scopes is divided in four phases: pre-lay survey, construction support, pre-commissioning services and barge positioning. During all phases, N-Sea will make specialist teams and assets available, such as a DP2 vessel equipped with a work class ROV as well as survey equipment. Barge positioning will be executed onboard the pipelay vessel the Lewek Centurion.
