NAVIS Upgrades ASC’s Autohydro Pro Software (Canada)

Autoship Systems Corporation (ASC) of Vancouver, Canada announced that long-time customer NAVIS, of Iceland, continue to upgrade their Autohydro Pro hydrostatics & stability software as demand rises for their exceptional naval architecture work.

NAVIS has been in charge of the design of various kinds of newbuildings such as stern trawlers, purse seiners, pelagic trawlers, fish factory vessels, tugs, ferries, survey and research vessels. “We have used Autohydro Pro successfully over 10 years for producing stability books when we’re faced with modifications and repairs of existing vessels, designs and renewals of fish factory lines.” says Mr. Bjarni Asumundsson, Naval Architect of NAVIS. “It’s a work-horse in our office and when we need any technical advice, the Autoship Systems team provides attention in a timely manner to our questions”, Mr. Asmundsson adds.

Autohydro Pro continues to lead the marine software industry with the following new features for 2013: Report Engine Updated – with compatibility for Windows 8, Oil Outflow Routine, intermediate stages of flooding added to SOLAS 2009 Probabilistic Rules, with an added graphical wizard to calculate penetration values.
