Neptune Dives Into Thai Market

Neptune Marine Services Limited has entered into an alliance with Beacon SubSea Limited, a subsea intervention service company that operates in Thailand.

The alliance will allow Neptune and Beacon SubSea to use their combined service capabilities and experience to provide engineering and total service solutions into the Thai market. It provides an opportunity for Neptune to extend its services, including remotely operated vehicle, survey, stabilisation, NEPSYS® welding and asset integrity service, to Thai customers.

Neptune Chief Executive Officer Robin King said: “It is very pleasing that we have signed this alliance with Beacon SubSea. Beacon SubSea is a company with local know how and on-the-ground experience with clients, and will give us assistance with logistics and local content requirements. The alliance is in line with our strategy of forming strategic partnerships with operators in South East Asia to increase our presence in the growing region”. Mr King said Beacon SubSea has already been awarded contract work in Thailand involving Neptune’s remotely operated vehicles, and several tenders involving other Neptune services are under client review.

Beacon SubSea, is a subsea service company with a generation of experience working throughout South East Asia. Beacon provides specialist and technical expertise to serve the offshore oil and gas, subsea projects, civil engineering and merchant shipping industries of Thailand.
