Neste Jacobs pens five-year services deal with Gasum

Neste Jacobs said on Wednesday it has signed a five-year framework agreement with Gasum of Finland for engineering and project implementation services. 

Under the agreement, Neste Jacobs will provide engineering, project management, procurement, HSE and documentation services for Gasum’s gas network and biogas projects in Finland, the company’s statement reveals.

Jarmo Suominen, CEO of Neste Jacobs informed that the cooperation with Gasum also includes the development of Finland’s LNG infrastructure.

Through its unit, Skangas, Gasum is developing Finland’s first LNG import terminal in the Port of Tahkoluoto in Pori.

The terminal, with a total investment of €81 million, will have a storage capacity of 30,000 cubic meters and will be completed in the second half of 2016.
