NEVA-LEADER 5 Sets Sail on Builder's Sea Trials

On August 31st, 2013 the dwt 7150 tonne vessel, NEVA-LEADER 5 set off on builder’s sea trials. The self-propelled dry-cargo vessel, NEVA-LEADER 5 (yard number 405) is being built at Nevsky Shipyard for North -Western Shipping Company, JSC.

The project RSD49 is developed by Marine Engineering Bureau-Design-SPb, JSC.

The distinct feature of the vessel (compared to all other projects of Volgo-Don Max class) is the existence of a large middle hold in fifty-two meters of length, which makes it possible to transport “design” oversize and heavy-lift cargoes in one-way voyage from Europe to the Caspian Sea.

It has significant affects on cumulative financial result.
