New president elected at Wild Well Control

Wild Well Control, a well control and engineering services company, has named a new president of the company.

Wild Well said on Wednesday that it named Bryan Ellis as its new president.

Ellis, who has been with Wild Well since 2008, succeeds Freddy Gebhardt as president effective immediately. Most recently, Ellis served as a chief administrative officer overseeing all financial and administrative operations.

Gebhardt said: “Bryan’s contributions have been integral to the success of Wild Well Control. As president, he will continue to expand the world class response, engineering and training services that Wild Well offers. Bryan is a proven leader who is committed to Wild Well’s mission of fully supporting our clients’ needs.”

Ellis has more than 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry providing financial and operational leadership. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and master’s in accounting.

Freddy Gebhardt, who has stepped down as president, will remain active with Wild Well in the role of senior advisor, supporting business opportunities globally. Gebhardt’s career spans 40 years in the well control industry.
