NGVA Europe expands BoD

NGVA Europe said that four of its members – Bord Gáis Networks, Daimler, Shell and xperion Energy & Environment – have been given seats on the association’s Board of Directors.

The last General Meeting held during the activities of NGV2014 Brussels approved the new BoD members unanimously. The decision expands the Natural & bio Gas Vehicle Association’s governing body to a total of 21 members.

Lauran Wetemans, General Manager Downstream-LNG of Shell says: “Shell’s decision to join NGVA Europe is recognition that Natural gas can be a viable option for fuelling cleaner and more sustainable transportation. We are excited to play a stronger role in the European dialogue about LNG as an emerging fuel for road transport and ships.”
