Nigeria: ClampOn Gets Order to Replace Sand Monitoring System on EA Field

ClampOn has received an order to supply more than 30 topside particle monitors for the EA field in Nigeria, operated by Shell Petroleum Development Company SPDC.

The sensors will be delivered in September and will replace an existing sand monitoring system that has not been working to Shell’s expectations.

ClampOn’s Market Coordinator Tonje Dahl says that the order comes as a result of focusing on quality at all stages. By keeping all activities such as sales, project planning and production under one roof in Bergen, Norway, we have the advantage of better quality control, short communication paths between all departments and being able to meet the client’s specific needs or special requirements.

We also work closely with our agents, and recently held an agent training at our new premises in Bergen. Our local agent in Nigeria, Aftrac, participated and enhanced their knowledge regarding every aspect of ClampOn. We have been working with Aftrac since 1998 and they have become very familiar with all our products and the ClampOn team.
