Northern Petroleum’s BoD Member Resigns Position (UK)

Northern Petroleum Plc announces that, effective yesterday, Chris Foss, Executive Director – Legal & Commercial, has left his position on the Board of Directors of the Company and other operating subsidiaries of the Group.

Chris joined Northern in January 2003 and was promoted into the role of Finance Director in August 2005. During his almost eight years as a member of the Board of Northern, Chris undertook various financial and commercial roles, most recently as Executive Director – Legal & Commercial.

Keith Bush, Chief Executive Officer of Northern, stated:

“On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Chris for all of his accomplishments during more than ten years of service to the Company and its shareholders, and wish him success in his planned new executive and non executive activities beyond Northern.”

Chris Foss added:

“I am proud of my contribution to Northern’s progress since joining when it was a £3m market cap company in January 2003.

“I wish Keith every success in driving the Company forward on behalf of all shareholders in his new role as CEO, and would also like to personally thank both past and present members of the wider Northern team, a number of whom have put in many years of service, for their hard work and assistance over the years.”
