AGR Appoints New Vice President for AGR Energy

AGR has appointed a new Vice President within their Reservoir Management division.

Morten Heir, formerly Technical Director at Canamens Energy for 4 years, succeeds Atle Aamodt Andresen who will now head up AGR Energy, a newly established division focusing on the development and management of projects within Israel.

Heir holds a masters degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU, Trondheim) as well as a masters degree in business administration from the School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH, Bergen). He also previously worked for BP for 18 years.

Heir states: “As a client, I have had some good experiences with AGR and now I am enthusiastic about joining the team and contributing to developing AGR’s high quality people and projects.”

Sjur Talstad, EVP of AGR added: “We at AGR are very fortunate to have Morten Heir on our team. He will lead at a significant time, bringing strategic, managerial and operational experience to the leadership team of AGR”.
