Norway: DeepOcean Appoints CFO and Group Controller

DeepOcean Group Holding AS, (“DeepOcean Group” or “the Company”) an integrated provider of subsea engineering and trenching services, today announced the appointment of Frank Eggink as the new Chief Financial Officer and Liz Collins as the Group Controller.

Frank Eggink has 23 years of global experience in the oil and gas, chemicals, renewable energy and forestry sectors in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Before joining the DeepOcean team in February 2012, Frank served as Vice President for Finance and Planning for Shell Energy in Europe, Russia and Central Asia. Frank has a broad business background with solid finance and strategic leadership and business development skills, and a proven track record of shareholder value generation and delivery. Since 1988, he has held various positions at Royal Dutch Shell – e.g. General Manager of Shell Uruguay, Finance Manager for the North Region of Shell Oil Products Latin America in Miami and Global Project Manager for the Downstream Sarbanes Oxley Compliance Program at Shell’s London-office, just to mention a few.

In several of his positions, Frank has led business transformation programs implementing business model change, enabling improved capital and cost efficiency, volume and profitability growth. Frank holds a business economics degree from the Erasmus University in the Netherlands.

Liz Collins has held a number of senior finance roles in several countries including the USA, UK and South Africa. She has experience in building global teams as well as system implementations, global reporting and shared service centres. Her most recent role was Group Financial Controller for Acergy SA. Liz holds professional accounting qualifications from South Africa, UK and the USA having graduated from Cape Town University with a business degree.
