Norway: DOF ASA Takes Delivery of Skandi Gamma PSV

 

DOF ASA informed that they have taken a delivery of Skandi Gamma, hull no 738 from STX OSV Søviknes, on Thursday, February 17 , at at 12:40.

DOF ASA thanked to Project Manager Ørjan Tenden-Vie and his team of dedicated site personnel.

Ørjan Tenden-Vie will act as Vessel Manager for the vessel until she is on Charter with Statoil scheduled to be Tuesday 22 February. Ole Kristoffer Nordbø will than be the permanent Vessel manager for Skandi Gamma.

Skandi Gamma is an Aker PSV 06 LNG design and has the following main particulars:

The vessel can accommodate up to 25 persons in 19 single and 3 double cabins. She has 14 PGMACS cargo system tanks, a Low Loss Concept Switchboard and a machinery system with 3 generators.

The vessel’s hull, machinery and equipment are constructed according to Det norske Veritas (DnV) with the following Classification and notations: ¬1A1, SF, E0, DYNPOS-AUTR (IMO DPII), DK (+), HL (2.8), LFL*, GAS FULLED, OLREC, CLEAN DESIGN, NAUT- OSV (A), Comf-V(3) C(3), STAND BY VESSEL and ESV-DP HIL. Skandi Gamma is also designed in accordance to NOFO2005 and as a NMD Stand by vessel.

Skandi Gamma will operate in the North sea on a long time charter with Statoil.
