Norway: New Business Manager for Regulatory Products and Services at Wilhelmsen Ships Service

Rob Chesters has been appointed as Business Manager for Regulatory Products and Services at Wilhelmsen Ship Service.

Chesters will work on the company’s new concept offers in the field of Regulatory Products and Services. The service concepts will be built around customer needs and regulation requirements and will be implemented through standardised processes.

Wilhelmsen Ships Service has recently rebranded its safety business stream from Safety and Environment to Regulatory Products and Services. The stream will cover all business opportunities that require a new or revised commercial offer linked to Maritime Safety, Refrigerants and Regulated products and services.

Chesters will report to the Business Stream Director Andrew Sheriff, who comments, “The regulatory products and services business is a very wide field which gives a great scope of opportunities for our Regulatory Products and Services team to look into. Rob will be a great asset to our team and I look forward to him exploring strategic opportunities that will build the future for Wilhelmsen Ship Service in this area of business. His role will be to take customer needs and market requirements and make a total offer around maritime safety. He will use existing processes and best practices to develop cost effective services.”

Chesters started his career with Unitor in 1995 and has since held a number of commercial positions within Wilhelmsen Maritime Services, most recently holding the temporary position of Market Segment Manager, Chemical Tankers.
