Ocean Scout to Start First Sea Trials This Weekend

Offshore supply ship Ocean Scout, Yard. no 125, under construction at Simek, Norway, is going to start its first sea trials this weekend. The UT 755 LC – 6,960 BHP PSV is owned by Atlantic Offshore Delta AS and will be managed by Atlantic Offshore Management AS. 

The sea trials will include testing of the vessel’s speed, maneuverability, equipment and safety features.

The trials will be carried out with the presence of technical representatives from the builder, inspectors from the company/owner and certification officials.

The vessel has overall length of  76.60 m, moulded breadth of 16.00 m and  3, 150 gross tonnage.

Powered by two main engines 2560 Kw RRM Bergen, it can accommodate 32 persons.
