Norway: Simek Delivers Platform Supply Vessel C-VIKING

Simek shipyard on July 12th 2012, successfully delivered the Platform Supply Vessel C-VIKING (Yard no. NB 126) to Duh Boats 2 Partnership C.V. ( Edison Chouest Offshore). The ship will depart Simek yard in a few days time.

PSV C-VIKING of UT 755 LC is a development of the popular UT 755 series, designed specifically for supplying equipment to oil and gas platforms. The vessel will have an extended hull and larger deck space to increase the capacity for transportation of solid and liquid cargo.

NB 126 is the 13th vessel of UT 755 design that Simek yard has built so far.

Draught: 5,83 m

Speed: 14,2 knots

In October, the blocks for another Platform Supply Vessel of the popular UT 755 series will arrive to Simek  and the work can start on Newbuilding 125.
