Simek Launches Platform Supply Vessel NB 126

Simek shipyard on May 12th 2012 successfully launched the Platform Supply Vessel (NB 126) of UT 755 LC design. Day after the vessel was launched the remaining superstructure, Block 5, was assembled to Yard no. 126 by a floating crane.

NB 126 is the 13th vessel of UT 755 design that Simek yard has built so far.

The UT 755 LC is a development of the popular UT 755 series vessel, designed specifically for supplying equipment to oil and gas platforms. The vessel will have an extended hull and larger deck space to increase the capacity for transportation of solid and liquid cargo.
