Novatek extends board

Russia’s largest independent natural gas producer Novatek has decided to increase the number of the company’s board members. 

The company said on Monday, the decision to add two new members has been approved by the current board.

Eduar Gudkov, deputy chairman of the management board and Denis Solovyov, the deputy chairman of the management board and director of communications development department join the extended Novatek board.

The decision comes following April move to reduce the number of members of the management board to eleven members.
