NTS to Build Bulker Duo for Dong-A Corporation

Chinese shipbuilder New Times Shipbuilding Co has received an order for two 208,000-dwt dry bulk carriers from the South Korean shipping company Dong-A Corporation.

The shipbuilder hasn’t revealed the price of the vessels.

The newbuilds would feature 300 metres  in lenght and  24.9 metres in draught.

According to the specifications released by  New Times Shipbuilding, the bulkers will be able to develop a speed of 14.5 knots.

The ships are reported to be the biggest in Dong-A’s fleet.
