Offshore Energy 2017: Registration open

The registration for Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference 2017 (OEEC 2017) to be held this year in Amsterdam, is now open. The celebratory tenth edition of this event is expected to attract over 12,000 offshore professionals and more than 650 exhibiting companies. Click here to register now.

Offshore Energy is an annual event focused on the complete offshore energy industry. It covers both the exploration and production of the conventional energy resources oil & gas as well as the expanding renewable part of the energy mix such as offshore wind and marine renewable energy. Renewables play an important role during OEEC 2017, which is why it is the ideal place to find out where the future of energy is heading.

Next to the exhibition that covers an area of around 26,000 m², a vast amount of speakers representing some of the biggest players in the offshore energy industry will feature at the conference. The conference presents an extensive three day conference program consisting of a keynote, technical sessions, master classes, meetings of industry organizations, the Marine Energy Event and the Offshore WIND Conference.

A fascinating mix of leaders from the business, buyers, investors, engineers and other interested parties within the offshore energy sector will get the opportunity to meet each other at OEEC and it is precisely this balance between supply and demand which is bringing more and more interested people to our expanding OEEC in Amsterdam every year.

Offshore Energy Conference – Transformation through collaboration

This year’s theme is ‘Transformation through collaboration’ which will focus on the transformation happening both in oil, gas and in renewables as a consequence of a lower for longer price environment. Both the lower price of oil and gas and the lower price per kWh for offshore wind power present challenges for the industry – albeit for very different reasons – and are leading to intensified collaboration. Add to this the industry’s efforts in making the energy transition happen and you have a very topical mix of themes which will feature prominently in the conference program, but can also be experienced on the exhibition floor where exhibitors will offer their own solutions for tomorrow’s energy mix.

Offshore WIND Conference – Leading the way!

As renewables are gaining a greater focus, OEEC will kick-off with the Offshore WIND Conference which will be held on 9 and 10 October as part of Offshore Energy. Next to the Offshore WIND Conference, the Marine Energy Event will be organised, in cooperation with EWA, on 11 October, and will focus on conditions for commercial success. These renewable events further strengthen the ties between oil and gas and the renewable industries.

Community Square

Launched in 2016, Community Square on the Offshore Energy exhibition floor will offer an exciting free to attend program of ON AIR talk-shows and Knowledge Café meetings on industry transformation. Think of climate change, decommissioning and reuse, renewable energy uptake, digitalization – developments that are reshaping the energy industry as we know it, perhaps even creating an integrated energy industry. A wide range of stakeholders of E&P companies and utilities, supply chain companies, NGOs, academia and government will share and discuss new ideas and solutions on energy transition, the future of the North Sea and new forms of collaboration transforming our industry and our economy. At Community Square you can hear what high level developments of goals, roadmaps and milestones really mean for your business, and for you.

Offshore Energy Opening Gala Dinner & Awards Show

An expert jury, to be confirmed June 2017, will carefully evaluate all submissions and will determine three final nominees per award. From 1 May 2017 it is possible to send in nominations for the second edition of the Offshore Energy Awards, which will take place during the Offshore Energy Opening Gala Dinner. Nominations will be open for the following awards: Offshore Energy Young Engineer Award, Offshore Energy Public Outreach Award and Best Innovation in Offshore Energy Award. Nominees will gain broad international recognition and significant market visibility through global media coverage.
