Østensjø Rederi Takes Delivery of World’s Most Environmentally Friendly PSV

Edda Ferd was today delivered from Astilleros Gondan yard in Spain to Østensjø Rederi.

The vessel will in a couple of days sail for Aberdeen, where it will be delivered to Shell UK Ltd. on a long-term charter.

Edda Ferd has a host of innovative solutions onboard, and has been designed with focus on quality, safety and efficiency of the highest kind. As stated in previous communication from Østensjø, Edda Ferd will be the world’s most environmentally friendly PSV.

“We very much look forward to putting her into service for Shell UK, thereby continuing an almost 40 year long cooperation between the companies. Congratulations to all parties involved in the building process on a job well done,” Østensjø Rederi said.
