Pakistan State Oil issues seven LNG cargoes tender

Pakistan State Oil company recently issued a tender seeking the supply of seven liquefied natural gas cargoes for delivery in January and February 2016. 

PSO stated in its invitation that the cargoes, delivered on a DES (ex-ship) basis should be up to 140,185 cbm in volume.

Three cargoes are to be delivered in January in three slots (10-12, 17-19, 25-27) while four cargoes are scheduled for delivery in February (1-3, 9-11, 16-18, 23-25).

Cargoes will be delivered to the 151,000 cbm FSRU Exquisite provided by Excelerate Energy. The FSRU is operated by Engro Elengy and serves as Pakistan’s import terminal at the Port Qasim, Karachi and has a 690 mmscf/d sendout capacity.

Deadline for the submission of bids has been set to December 15, the tender document reveals.
