Palfinger Boats is the manufacturer of rescue boats, work boats, daughter crafts and life boats.

This product range is complementary to the Palfinger Marine deck equipment such as offshore cranes, marine cranes and launch & recovery systems.

The rescue boats, workboats and daughter crafts are designed and manufactured at Palfinger Boats’ new head office in Harderwijk, the Netherlands.

Palfinger Boats is able to produce almost the full standard range of these boats in GRP, as well as in aluminum.

“The integration of Palfinger Boats, former Fast RSQ, into the Palfinger Marine group allows us to join and benefit from the success of the group.

Together with the marine and offshore cranes and the dedicated launch and recovery systems for every type of boat, we can offer a complete package for each type of vessel or rig for the marine and offshore industry, navy, Coast Guard and windfarm market,” said Matthijs van der Ham, Managing Director at Palfinger Boats.

“The success is shown already for the Sentinel project (4 ERRV’s for the UK market) for which we will supply the complete ship set of the aluminum fast rescue boat FRSQ 700 A, 10m daughter craft FRSQ 1000 A and dedicated davits.

The FRSQ 1000 A daughter craft is designed in close cooperation with the owner, to make the daughter craft fully in compliance with the operator’s needs.”

Both the FRSQ 1000 A Daughter Craft and FRSQ 700 A Fast Rescue Craft were demonstrated during Seawork in Southampton UK from June 10-12.
