PDi Gets New CEO

Project Development International (PDi), part of the Tattva Group, has appointed Michael O’Sullivan as its new chief executive officer and board member.

Michael O’Sullivan

Bringing over 25 years’ subsea oil and gas experience to PDi, Michael began his career in the subsea industry with riser consultancy MCS, serving in a variety of technical and managerial positions.

This culminated in his appointment as Managing Director of MCS UK in 2009 – following its acquisition by Wood Group – a position he held until 2013. Subsequently running JP Kenny’s operations in Aberdeen, he most recently held the position vice president of Application Engineering for the Aker Solutions UK products business.

In his new role, O’Sullivan will be responsible for growing PDi’s core installation engineering and decommissioning services, developing the international footprint of the company and expanding its subsea engineering design capability. Michael will be part of the leadership team that will drive the development of Tattva Group’s global oil and gas business, through the integration of PDi’s subsea expertise with sister company Results Engineering’s topsides and onshore capability.

O’Sullivan said: “I am delighted to be joining the Tattva Group and leading PDi at such an exciting time for the business. I am looking forward to helping Tattva Group become a leading solution-independent niche service provider to the global oil and gas sector by harnessing the combined best-in-class capabilities of PDi and Results Engineering.”
