Pella Launches 50m Port Service Vessel

Pella Shipyard has launched the second vessel from the series of multifunction complex port service vessels based under the project PELLA SKPO-1000. The vessel will be delivered to the State Customer in 2013.

For the first time the vessel of more than 50 m length is launched in the existing slipway because of the unique transport-launching appliance using the “sliding” pull rods for the rapprochement of trolleys at pivoting of the vessel.

Assignment:

  • Bunkerage of the vessels with different types of fuel
  • Collection of oily content, sewage, bilge waters from vessels and floating objects
  • Collection of dry garbage and food waste from vessels
  • Buoys transportation and placement
  • Beaconage floating devices maintenance
  • Oil spill removal
  • Transportation of cargoes
