Peru LNG cargo on way to Mexico

Peru’s only LNG export plant shipped a cargo of the chilled gas to Mexico on November 14.

The cargo is being hauled by the Barcelona Knutsen, a 173,400 cbm tanker, and it is sailing to the Manzanillo import terminal.

The liquefaction plant in Pampa Melchorita has exported 239 cargoes since its startup in June of 2010, Perupetro data shows.
