The 147,980 cbm LNG tanker Arctic Princess recently delivered a cargo of liquefied natural gas to FSRU Independence which is serving as Lithuania’s import terminal in the port of Klaipeda.

The cargo was delivered from Statoil’s Hammerfest LNG facility.

Statoil has a deal in place with Lithuania’s Litgas to supply about 6-7 LNG cargoes per annum.

The Arctic Princess is on a 20-year charter deal with Statoil that started back in January 2006.

The FSRU Independence, with a storage capacity of 170 132 cbm of LNG and a regasification capacity of 384 mmscf per day, commenced operation in November 2014 on a 10-year contract.
