PKN Orlen, through its subsidiary Baltic Power, holds a license to build wind farms with a maximum total capacity of up to 1,200 MW at a circa 131 km2 area located some 22 km off Choczewo and Łeba.

The online event will be held on 9 December starting from 10:00 local time and will cover the project preparations, the timetable and the approach to cooperate with local suppliers.

As an extension, the company plans to hold workshops next year focused on the individual technical areas of the wind farm.

The developer submitted an environmental report for the project in July and has already secured the grid connection. Last month, PKN ORLEN started onshore geological surveys along the connection route.

The plan is to begin constructing the wind farm in 2024.
