Portugal to get LNG cargo

REN’s Sines LNG terminal in Portugal is scheduled to receive a cargo of the chilled gas on March 15.

The 160,000 cbm Golar Crystal is carrying the cargo from Nigeria’s Bonny LNG export plant, port data reveals.

Golar LNG recently chartered its two newbuilds Golar Crystal and Golar Frost to Nigeria LNG for a period of 12 months.

NLNG has decided to retire three of its smaller LNG carriers and to replace these with Golar’s tankers while the company awaits the delivery of its own recently ordered new vessels.
