Prometheus Energy Deploys First LNG Powered Turbines for Hydraulic Fracturing

Prometheus Energy Group Inc., a leading supplier of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and related services to oilfield, power, mining and process industry customers, announced the successful deployment of the first 100% LNG powered turbines for hydraulic fracturing, supporting operations for Green Field Energy Services, Inc.

Prometheus Energy is providing all LNG equipment, including onsite mobile LNG storage and vaporization, technical field support and project management of all third parties for compression and power generation services.. The fracturing project is in the Eagle Ford Shale Play in South Texas. This first-of-a-kind project is yet another step by Prometheus in creating LNG distribution infrastructure, and enabling the LNG framework for specialized customer solutions.
