Q-Max heading for South Hook LNG

South Hook LNG terminal located on the shores of Milford Haven waterway is scheduled to receive another cargo of liquefied natural gas from Qatar next week.

Milford Haven Port Authority data shows that the 266,000 cbm Q-Max LNG carrier Mozah is set to dock at the South Hook jetty on May 29.

Mozah, the first Q-max LNG carrier, was built at the Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard on Geoje island and delivered to its owner Nakilat in 2008.

This will be the second cargo to the South Hook LNG terminal in the period of four days.

One of Europe’s largest LNG import terminals, South Hook, owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total, is able to process 15.6 million tons of LNG per year.
