Qatar Petroleum Takes Part in GCC Production and Maintenance Committee Meeting

Qatar Petroleum (QP) recently took part in the 33rd GCC Production and Maintenance Committee Meeting, which was held last September 30 in Abu Dhabi and involved representatives from national petroleum companies in the GCC. This year’s meeting focused on “Maintenance, Planning and Scheduling Device” for production and maintenance teams.

Among those who attended from QP were Mr. Rashid Majed Al-Sulaiti, Manager – Operations Engineering (Offshore Fields), and Mr. Soud Jaleel Al-Ruwaili, Assistant Manager – Production Operations (Gas Recycling), both of whom are members of the GCC Production and Maintenance Committee.

Many other senior engineers from QP also attended the meeting. The discussions focused, among others, on the working papers from all GCC member states as well as on how to reach a better work exchange experiences related to planning and scheduling maintenance.
