Qatari LNG cargo heading for South Hook

Liquefied natural gas cargo recently departed Qatar’s Ras Laffan complex and set course for the UK’s South Hook LNG terminal. 

According to the shipping data, the 263,000 cbm Q-Max carrier Al Samriya is scheduled to dock at the South Hook LNG terminal located on the shores of the Milford Haven waterway on June 26.

The terminal is owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total and has the capacity to process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
