RasGas Operations Group Completes Year without LTI (Qatar)

Qatar’s RasGas  said in a statement that on 5th February, the RasGas Operations Group completed one year of work without a Lost Time Incident (LTI).

The Operations Group of RasGas completed 367 days without LTI on this date while the number of man-hours without a Lost Time Injury reached 14 Million Hours by the end of January 2012.

“We are utilising best practices in safety to execute all our activities in RasGas as the company promotes safety as a core value,” said Hamad Mubarak Al Muhannadi, Operations Group Manager. He called upon all employees to continue the excellent effort to make RasGas the safest place to work for.

“We are always looking for best practices to keep our people and facilities safe. We will continue our focus on being a very reliable LNG supplier,” said Al Muhannadi.

“RasGas never compromises on quality and we have always made it a point to implement the highest safety standards to protect our people and the environment,” he said.

“I would like to express my appreciation to the entire Operations team and our contractors for their commitment and excellent efforts leading to this laudable accomplishment,” said Al Muhannadi.
