Reach Subsea, MMT score more work

Norwegian subsea services provider Reach Subsea has been awarded a letter of intent from an undisclosed European contractor for a four-month project.

Reach Subsea said that the project, for what the company described as “first class European contractor,” would begin in the second quarter 2017.

According to the company, a fleet expansion will be necessary to meet the requirements of the contract.

The company added that the project would be executed together with Sweden-based marine surveys specialist MMT.

This is the second contract for the two companies in quick succession since the duo was recently awarded a three-year contract last month by Nord Stream AG for inspection of both lines of the Nord Stream Pipeline running through the Baltic Sea from Russia to Germany.
