Ross Offshore names permanent CEO

Norway’s Ross Offshore has informed that Jørgen L. Jørgensen has accepted the permanent position as CEO of Ross Offshore.

 

Jørgen L. Jørgensen has, since October 1, served as interim CEO after Frode Losnedal resigned. Jørgen L. Jørgensen has worked in various positions in Ross Offshore since 2006. Before he was appointed as CEO, he was head of the subsurface department.

“The Board is very pleased that Jørgen has now agreed to go into a permanent position. It is very important for the board, and management to maintain a good continuity in Ross Offshore. Jørgensen will, with his expertise and experience with the company and the industry in general, be a key contributor for further development of the company,’’ says Christian Brinch, chairman of the board in Ross Offshore AS.
