Russia: Gazprom and Poland Discuss Energy Cooperation

The Gazprom headquarters hosted Friday a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Wojciech Zajaczkowski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Russian Federation.

The parties discussed the Russian-Polish cooperation in the energy sector considering current interaction between Gazprom and PGNiG as well as terms, conditions and volumes of natural gas supply to Poland.

In addition, the meeting participants looked at the prospects for partnership in such sectors as underground gas storage, gas-fired power generation, hydrocarbons exploration and production in Russia, Poland and third countries.
