Laky Verf Splashes Patrol Boat of Project 13M

The solemn ceremony of launching the patrol boat of the project 13M took place at Laky Verf LLC on 23rd of July, 2013. The customer of the boat is Federal Customs Service of Russia.

In accordance with a tradition of Russian Fleet, the boat got the God Mother, PR-manager of Laky Verf company Ekatherina Poddubnaya.

The patrol boat can be used for customs control purposes (patrolling, inspections, interception and search of non-compliant vessels, passenger transportation) in the waters of the coastal and marine areas, and estuaries of major rivers, both at night and in daytime, as well as for search and rescue operations and other purposes complying with the vessel’s technical abilities.

The customer’s representative – the Head of Air and Maritime Service of Federal Customs Service of Russia Yuriy Shushkin participated in the ceremony. He said, “It our first practice in building of such a boat. The boat will be used in accordance with the requirements of the Customs”. He paid attention to the close-together arrangement of all things, full-rate sleeping berths, and comfortable service on board.”

Yuriy Shushkin emphasized that the full impression would be made after sea-trails. After sea-trails the boat will be lifted, prepared for transportation and sent to the south Region of Russia for its duty.
