Sæthern to Lead AGR Reservoir Management
AGR has appointed André Sæthern as new head of Reservoir Management in Norway
Sæthern joins AGR from VNG, where he led non-operated producing assets team in addition to overseeing the operator’s Danish development assets.
He was a member of the board of directors at German oil and gas utility VNG Norge, which was recently acquired by the Neptune Group.
“André is highly experienced and knows our company well as a previous client of us,” said Svein Sollund, AGR’s chief executive officer. “The combination of his professional expertise as a reservoir engineer, as well as a team leader, with AGR’s immense knowledge and solid track record in delivering G&G studies, commercial evaluations and technical training, will ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. One of André’s immediate priorities will be to further shape our highly reputable subsurface proposition on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.”
Over the recent years, AGR have completed more than 1,500 reservoir studies for clients globally and in Norway
Sæthern starts in his new role on January 2, 2019.
