Samsung Heavy Bags Containerships Order

Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) from South Korea, has been awarded a contract for the construction of five containership units worth USD 422 million.

The vessels were ordered by an unrevealed Asian ship owner.

SHI further revealed in a regulatory filing to the Korea Stock Exchange that it will deliver the vessels by the end of 2015.
