SeaBird’s Harrier Explorer gets contract extension

SeaBird Exploration Plc announces that Harrier Explorer has been awarded a two-month extension to the current contract in the North Sea.

The vessel will operate under the extended contract until the second half of May 2014. The value of the extension is estimated at USD 4 million.

The Aquila Explorer has been awarded a contract for a survey off the North West shelf of Australia. In addition, the vessel has been contracted for two surveys in New Zealand. The three contracts have a combined estimated duration of 40 days and a value of approximately USD 5 million.

The company’s backlog is currently approximately USD 70 million.
