The SEA CON Group are world leaders in underwater connector technology and provide an extensive and diverse range of electrical, optical and hybrid connector assemblies, submersible switches and cable system solutions for many applications within the Oil & Gas, Defence, Oceanographic and Environmental markets.
“The award was made in recognition of our continued growth and commitment to our international customers and our year on year progress, not just in revenue but in customer relations and overall business development,” the company said.
“We have seen our exports in the European market grow from just over £1 million in 2010 to over £2.6 million in 2012 and global sales rise from £9.1 million to over £12.6 million in the same period. As a business we are also very proud of the significant contribution our staff have had on our performance, a contribution illustrated by our low staff turnover and team spirit.
“All our product development is undertaken with an eye for sustainability and the environment at large. This care and attention has seen us develop our processes and products to maximize environmentally friendly strategies,” said the company.
Kevin Hall, Sales Director for SEACON (europe) Ltd, said: “This is a great achievement and something we can all be very proud of.
