Seanamic Boosts Flexlife and Umbilicals International US Teams

Seanamic Group has strengthened its ranks in Houston-based companies Flexlife and Umbilicals International.

Specialist in the integrity management of flexible pipelines and umbilicals, Flexlife, has welcomed Paul Chittenden as business development manager.

Chittenden has experience in the energy industry, having held similar roles at Proceanic, Pulse Monitoring Systems and GE Oil and Gas.

Kirk Francis, regional director for Flexlife, said: “Paul’s skills will be invaluable as our office in Houston continues to grow. He has a vital role as we take on new projects, and cement our combined asset integrity management capabilities in the Seanamic Group.”

Furthermore, Chris Kuykendall and Linda Villa have joined Umbilicals International as sales manager and procurement manager, bringing more than 30 years combined subsea experience to the firm.

Bob Conners, CEO of Umbilicals International, said: “Chris and Linda are a welcome addition to Umbilicals International as we expand our capabilities to include subsea production control umbilicals with the addition of our Channelview site, and strengthen links between UI and the other companies in the Seanamic Group.
