Seatronics Names New International Product Sales Manager (UK)

Seatronics Ltd., an Acteon company, has appointed Adil Ali as international product sales manager. Based in the UK, Ali will be responsible for managing and coordinating the global sales of Seatronics Ltd.’s owned products and represented manufacturers’ products.

Ali has been employed with Seatronics Ltd., part of Acteon’s marine electronics, instrumentation and survey business, for five years. In his previous role as regional manager, he oversaw sales activities for the Middle East in Abu Dhabi. Before joining the company, he served as sales manager with CodaOctopus Products Ltd. He has additional industry experience as a Geophysicist with Racal Survey Ltd., Perth, UK, and freelance experience as a Geologist and Oceanographer.

Seatronics Group managing director David Currie said, “Adil’s experience and personal qualities will make an important contribution to our success in our growing international product sales.”

Ali has a BSc in Geology from Manchester University, an MSc in Oceanography from Southampton University and an MBA from Curtin University, Perth, Australia. In addition, he was Chairman of the Hydrographic Society, Middle East from 2007 to 2012.
