Seatruck Ferries Sets Up New Bristol-Dublin Service

UK ferry operator Seatruck Ferries, part of the Danish shipping company Clipper Group A/S, has commenced a weekend service connecting Bristol and Dublin, enabling car manufacturers to enter Ireland directly.

The company said the new service uses a vessel that would otherwise be idle during weekends.

The company now operates 66 departures a week across its three regular routes including Heysham–Warrenpoint, Heysham–Dublin and Liverpool–Dublin.

August saw a 24.9% volume increase of unaccompanied trailers moved by Seatruck, compared with the previous year.

Seatruck’s fleet is comprised of 12 roll-on roll-off (RoRo) freight ferries.
